My stomach hurts for reasons that I probably shouldn’t attach to my digital footprint. I probably shouldn’t even say that because now an innuendo is attached to my digital footprint.

I’ve taken some time off because I haven’t felt the “creative spark”. But I pay for this so here I am. Also writing shouldn’t require a creative spark. Just had to tell myself that a couple times.

I just was abroad for a couple months and now I’m back ‘home’ in the wonderful Madison, WI. I have found it challenging to make sense of Berlin while here in Madison, WI. (Stark contrast) (with those of you unfamiliar with the two cities).

I learned many new things, met many new people and just had the experience of a lifetime! What more could you ask for while studying abroad.

Well for one I can say I will hopefully never be in a bunkbed again.

But another thing I will say

Is that moving across the country from small town backwards confederate land Georgia, to Madison, WI had a larger impact on my sense of self. Among other things. that you sense.

It was the biggest blessing of my life

to leave

and it’s an even bigger blessing to call that place home.

Because how would I ever know anything

if not for my small backwards confederate land hometown
